Description of Works
The project consisted of Internal Demolition & Renovation of 9 bedroom Residential Care Unit, including all ensuite services, nurses station and clinical rooms.
This involved the complete demolition of all internal walls, the construction of new studwork, replacement of all external windows and doors, complete refit of all electrical, medical gasses, plumbing and heating installations. The works also included for ensuites to all rooms with white rocked walls, vinyl flooring and new sanitary ware fitted to IPS panels.
An extension providing a rest area with bay window looking out into a landscape garden was also provided for the residents.
All areas were finished to a high standard including solid oak doors, vinyl flooring with coved skirting and oak veneered fitted furniture.
All works were carried out while the rest of the care home remained live.
